Maternal Haven Resource Notice

Maternal Haven provides information and education only. We do not offer medical or legal advice, diagnose conditions, prescribe medication, or replace the care of a licensed medical provider. Our resources are designed to support learning, self-advocacy, and informed decision-making throughout pregnancy, birth, postpartum, and reproductive health experiences.

When we reference a “Guide,” we are referring to an educational resource that gathers publicly available information, supportive hotlines, community programs, and verified data. Maternal Haven shares researched information for educational purposes but does not endorse or partner with any external services listed in the Guide unless otherwise stated.

For questions about medical care, prescriptions, or legal concerns, please contact a licensed healthcare professional or the appropriate organization directly.

Inclusive Language Statement | At Maternal Haven, we recognize that pregnancy, birth, and postpartum experiences belong to all people with a uterus who can become pregnant, including cisgender women and those who identify as transgender, non-binary, gender-expansive, intersex, Two-Spirit, and more.

You may notice we use a mix of terms such as “parents,” “birthing people,” “clients,” and “women” depending on context. This is intentional and reflects our commitment to honoring the diverse identities, lived experiences, and families within our community.
